Micah Deaton
Lead Pastor
Micah serves as the Lead Pastor of Summit. Micah, and his wife, Sheri, are the parents of Abigail and Adam. The Deaton Family likes to spend time together, watch TV and movies, play games, and go on adventures. On their travels together, they have visited 48 states and the country of Canada.
Micah has served in church ministry since 2002 as pastor, teacher, and church planter. Micah is a graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock. Sheri is also a graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and works as a professor at the University of Arkansas.
The Deatons have a heart for the people of Springdale and northwest Arkansas. God led the Deatons back to northwest Arkansas, and they saw the need for a new church in Springdale. They had the first Bible study of Summit in September 2018 in their home in Springdale. They love to host people in their home, serve in the community, and help people grow in their faith in God. They are excited about what God is doing at Summit!
Ethan Pugh
Music Minister
Ethan serves as the Music Leader at Summit. Ethan, and his wife, Kylie, are the parents of Titus, Audrei, and Raelynn. Ethan has served in churches in the areas of music ministry, youth ministry, and college ministry.
Ethan is a graduate of the Missionary Baptist Seminary in Little Rock, and he was a music major at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Kylie also enjoys singing and playing music to praise the Lord.
Ethan and Kylie are originally from northeast Arkansas, but they are at home in northwest Arkansas. They have a heart for other people, and they enjoy helping people grow in their faith and leading people to worship God. They are excited to be part of what God is doing at Summit!
